human.kind Advertising has recently appointed Johanni C Jennings to take up the role of strategist at the agency. After completing her BA communication and BA Honours in marketing management at the University of Johannesburg, Jennings cut her teeth in advertising at Leo Burnett before taking up a position as marketing manager at Toyota SA. Jennings returned to the agency world as a business unit director at Grey SA, prior to trying her hand at an entrepreneurial venture where she co-owned a small marketing company that operated in the SMME sector. Preceding human.kind, Jennings worked as a strategist at The Jupiter Drawing Room.
Managing director of human.kind, Deon Kruger says, "We're really excited to have Johanni on board and she joins us with a strong background in her field. Johanni will be part of the team that will see human.kind grow from strength to strength as we stake our claim as one of South Africa's stronger smaller agencies."
Jennings adds, "I knew I was home the minute I heard that Humankind's brand ethos is "Act with Purpose". As with many of its employees, it spoke to me on a personal and professional level. I am excited by the thought of being part of such an amazing and dynamic team; shaping a unique legacy in a cynical industry. By sharing the strategic knowledge I've gathered over the years with the young, industrious minds here, I hope to support the team's daily "acts of purpose" in our quest to deliver an exceptional creative product to our clients."
human.kind is a unique agency of talented creatures who revel in providing creatively driven solutions to clients. It has a vested interest in social and environmental health because its aim is to exist in a state of harmony with the world beyond its office walls. When it comes to communication, human.kind prides itself on its skilful advertising, strategic insight and solid brand development.
