Matthew then spent a year in Taiwan with his girlfriend on a romantic impulse. There, he secured a job at CyberLink Corp in Taipei where he worked as a Product Communication Specialist, writing all their English content for the US market. They eventually returned home to be close to their families for the birth of their son.
On his return to South Africa in 2009, Matthew joined human.kind advertising. He quickly rose up the ranks to his current position as senior copywriter and group head of a team of five.
In his spare time Matthew DJs Techno and Deep House at various parties around Johannesburg, spends time with his son and girlfriend and indulges in the various genres of trashy films that he loves.
