South Africa's climate change on the agenda

High Pitch Media is part of service providers appointed to manage public relations for the Local Government Programme 4 COP17 at the seventeenth Conference of the Parties (COP17/CMP7) taking place in Durban from 28 November to 9 December.
Mika Chauke, Managing Director of High Pitch Media says: "The importance of this programme and events, its demonstration and reporting on local climate commitments, all aimed at the impact of these actions for the global common good, should not be underestimated. Being part of it through our relationship with Local Government is an honour."

The company manages publicity on behalf of The Local Government Partnership for COP17 (South African Cities Network [SACN] and South African Local Government Association [SALGA] supported by the Department of Environmental Affairs and the Department of Cooperative Governance) based on a programme with various events and communication initiatives that will take place for the duration of the conference.

The Local Government Programme for COP17 (LGP4COP17) sets out to ensure that municipalities can share best practices and anecdotes on how to they can influence the South Africa's Climate Change Agenda.
