The Bokamoso Education Trust enables people, who do not necessarily have the funds nor the time to support a disadvantaged child on their own, to come together, and create the financial muscle required to give these kids a fighting chance. It is our belief that education is essential in uplifting the underprivileged and providing them with an exceptional opportunity to improve their own livelihood as well as those of their own families and communities.
Bokamoso are currently supporting five children through their schooling career and this number is going to grow to seven in 2010. This is achieved through a community of donors who donate R100 a month. Each donor supports a specific child and collectively the funds required to send a child to school is raised.
