Dear Ceri,
When it comes to saying thank you for hosting a party at Cotlands on the 14th November 2008 and for providing all the party packs and the afternoon's entertainment, I really battle to find the right words to express just how grateful we are.
To many people out there, Cotlands is just another children's charity, but for those of us who work here, Cotlands is very much a part of our lives and the work we do here, gives our lives real meaning.
Seeing children rescued from all kinds of social horrors, given safe haven with us and slowly turning them back into the healthy, happy children they were born to be, is the kind of reward that most people never have the privilege to experience.
At present, Cotlands is hard at work in five regions (Johannesburg South, Soweto, in Gauteng, Hlabisa in Kwa Zulu/Natal, East London in Eastern Cape, Helderberg in the Western Cape and Lydenburg in Mpumalanga) ? impacting more than 3 800 families either directly (through Home Based Care and residential care) or indirectly (via outreach, training, capacity building and counselling).
Our 72 years of service to South African children and the growth and vitality of our community outreach activities is directly linked to the generosity of our corporate supporters. And so our successes and achievements are yours too.
On behalf of everyone here at Cotlands — from our Board and managers, to our staff and the little ones we serve — a heartfelt thank you for your dedication to Cotlands. We are truly blessed to have you and your team as part of the Cotlands family.
On a personal note I would like to wish your and the staff at JD Internet Consulting a wonderful festive season.
