Most recently, Peissig has artfully created "Parade", a trailer for the launch campaign of "Homeland", a Showtime Networks television series starring Claire Danes and Damien Lewis. The series is set to premiere on 18 April on M-Net in South Africa.
Aside from his work on this suspenseful drama, Peissig is also old-hand in the advertising world. He has helmed hundreds of productions for high-profile brands across the world, including Vodafone, LG, Yamaha, Budweiser, BMW, Suzuki and Philips.
Peissig marries experience - he's been making films since the age of 12, but has been in the industry for over 10 years - with a passion for creating evocative, compelling pieces; a trait that Ridley Scott recognised when he viewed Peissig's first commercial and invited him to become part of his stable of directors in 2001.
Peissig is also widely known for his work on noteworthy music videos, like Imogen Heap's Grammy-winning single "Hide and Seek" and Frou Frou's "Dumbing Down of Love".
Golden Planes is ecstatic to have a talented director of this calibre on board, and is eager to put his eagle eye for great boards and his willingness to do "anything to get the shot" to the test.
