"Having considered the market and the key players therein, it is irrefutable that Ian and his team are major players in the niche legal market that focuses on Corporate transactions of a sizeable scale, "agreed Mzi Mgudlwa, Deputy Chief Executive of ENS, "It is our vision to be the African law firm of choice - both for our clients and for our people. We are proud and humbled that Ian and his team have chosen to come to ENS and become part of our team."
"What drew me to ENS is not only the one firm/one team approach," acknowledged Ian, "but the fact that it is vital to me that we can make a difference and can make a valuable contribution to the firm at which we practice. I believe that ENS has a flat structure and offers an approach whereby everyone is able to give input into the strategic direction which the firm takes. We are excited to be part of the new developments taking place at the firm."
ENS recently announced the opening of two new, fully integrated offices in Africa, to be headed up by Gilbert Nyatanyi (Burundi) and Désiré Kamanzi (Rwanda) and in so doing has called itself "Africa's first truly integrated Pan-African law firm". The firm has plans to open up further offices in Africa in due course.
