It's about community!

In this day and age, when there are so many messages transmitted every day, marketers can be forgiven for scratching their heads and wondering how the %$&# they can be heard through all the noise.
Many marketers (ourselves included) believe that community is the answer. The reasoning goes that if you can somehow persuade your audience to opt-in to your community using the new tools of communication, you will sell your products far more easily.

In digital marketing agency World Wide Creative's next Heavy Chef Session*, we're exploring this further. We've asked the 'Godfather of South African Social Media', Mike Stopforth, to talk through his personal experiences with his agency Cerebra. He will be ably supported by Alwyn Venter of Added Value, one of South Africa's leading market research companies. Alwyn will look at community in a more analytical light.
