EntertainmentAfrica.com and Prezence Digital SA recently teamed up with Synergy Live music festival to create a mobile entertainment element for one of South Africa's leading live music events.
As the event's online media partner, EntertainmentAfrica.com sponsored the SMS to screen system developed by Prezence Digital SA.
EntertainmentAfrica.com portal manager Robert Dionisio explained: "After meeting up with the Synergy team, we felt that Prezence Digital's SMS2 Screen functionality was a great way for event goers to interact in the 15 to 20 minutes between band changes, what's more, it also provided additional exposure for the event sponsors."
Enabling direct audience participation, the highly interactive SMS2Screen system brings large format events to life. Once people SMS their messages to a predetermined number, their comments are displayed on screens across the venue for everybody to see and respond to in kind.
