The appointments of a new Technical Director and Client Services Director to the Glasshouse digital agency, consolidate the skills of a strong team that have collectively produced award-winning work, been featured in international design publications and most significantly, have retained a loyal following of clients.
When asked to ascribe the accomplishments of Glasshouse to this point, Managing Director, Du Toit Marais says: “Our growth and success can mainly be attributed to the amazing team of people in our ‘family'. Understating his own role in the success of the company that began producing work from a small apartment, the determination and dynamism of Du Toit is evident from first meeting.
Describing the trajectory of the company to date, Du Toit says: “In the past five years we have been able to grow to 20-plus family members, producing corporate process and data flow solutions, websites and mobile campaigns. We have specialists in each of our core offerings and a dynamic management team with massive industry experience.”
By the end of 2009, Glasshouse aims to have a presence in Amsterdam, Dubai, New York and Singapore, with a vision of being a globally respected digital agency.
The Glasshouse portfolio of work has already received international recognition and recently been featured in the distinguished Taschen publication entitled Web Design: Navigation. The art book publisher, founded in Germany, has a host of renowned titles to its name.
