New Yokohama mileage warranty available at Tiger Wheel & Tyre

Vehicle tyres, like patience, wear out and when they do, replacing them can be a budget-bending exercise. The goal of course is to get the maximum mileage from your tyres before you have to replace them. There's no better way to make sure that happens than to take advantage of the new Yokohama Mileage Warranty, now available from Tiger Wheel & Tyre, countrywide.

The warranty is free and available to Tiger Wheel & Tyre customers who purchase any two or more tyres from four different models in Yokohama’s environmentally friendly BluEarth range. This includes the BluEarth AE01 and AE50 passenger tyres, whose mileage is warrantied to 70,000kms, and the Geolandar G055 and G056 SUV tyres, whose mileage is warrantied to 100,000kms.

How it works

Each tyre model is guaranteed to reach a specified mileage, within a period of five years from the date of purchase, and if it doesn’t Yokohama will step up with a credit based on the remaining tread percentage. This credit will automatically be applied towards the customer’s purchase of the same or similar replacement Yokohama tyres at Tiger Wheel & Tyre.

To ensure their claim is valid, customers must keep their original invoice and properly maintain their tyres to prevent uneven or premature wear, and keep records and invoices for this maintenance, which includes rotating, balancing and setting the alignment of tyres every 8,000 to 10,000 kms at Tiger Wheel & Tyre.

Additional, easy-to-understand and easy-to-comply-with terms and conditions apply and are available to view in store or online at www.twt.to

“We’re really excited to offer our customers the new Yokohama Mileage Warranty. They work hard for their money and deserve to get what they pay for and so long as they do their part, they are now assured of getting the maximum mileage from their tyres. You simply can’t beat that assurance for peace of mind,” said Group Marketing Executive, Joe du Plooy.
