Yes, it's been a busy year!

In fact so busy that we've had our heads down crafting the work and very little time set aside to write about ourselves! So here's a small snapshot of what we've been up to in the last half of this year.
As well as building on the work we create with our current client base, we've also started some new relationships with brands such as Woolworths, Castle Lager, Cell C, Virgin Money, FNB Connect, Plascon, 24.com, Pam Golding and The Spur Group.



We've also committed ourselves to the One Agency, which is a collection of creative's working for free to fight against crime in this country.

Alongside this, we've grown the size of our team in Cape Town and we opened our new office in Johannesburg, which is flying faster than we imagined.

Our team worked tirelessly through the year to complete an impressive amount of innovative work and we were recognised for these efforts at various awards shows both nationally and internationally.

Locally we were announced as Digital Agency of the year (for the second time in a row) by FinWeek. We were also a finalist in the Design and Branding category at the advertising industry's annual review by AdFocus (also second year in a row).

We brought home 15 Loeries, including the first Grand Prix for a digital campaign in 10 years, as well as six of the eight awards given out at the first Digital Bookmark awards. A gold and two silvers at both the South Africa BDA awards and The Assegai Awards. The main Grand Prix and two silvers at the Design Indaba's Construction awards topped our haul for this year.

Internationally we won two honours at The Webby's (The world's largest digital awards), A gold at the Echo awards in America (another first for a South African country), a gold and silver at the Global BDA/Promax awards and a finalist at Caples.

Digital is in an exciting space in South Africa, with changes in our landscape every day. Schools are producing more great talent every year and an increasing number of very competitive Digital agencies are launching and growing across the country. We also have new technologies flying into the market on a monthly basis and together with some well thought through design solutions, this is helping the industry transform what used to be seen as a geeks school into a serious channel of communication.

So 2009 promises to be a big year for us all in Digital. Let's see what happens next!
