All-rounder Bruce Whitfield has won the top prize in Citadel's Words on Money competition. In addition to articles for Finweek, he won the prize for his work as presenter of Talk Radio 702's The World @ Six programme and other contributions on other platforms.
Marc Hasenfuss was the winner in the category for breaking news in print.
Ruan Jooste (Finweek) and Marc Ashton (Fin24.com) were finalists in the Newcomer of the Year category. Shaun Harris was a finalist in the Analysis and Opinion category.
Earlier this month, Finweek was judged the best business magazine in ADvantage's ADmag awards.
The latest ABC results for the period January to March 2009 once again entrenched the publication as the best selling financial weekly with a total circulation of 32,295, up from October to December 2008's figures - one of only a few magazines that managed to grow circulation in these trying financial times.
