Velocity Film's Vuka Semi-finalists

Thabo Marera's World Food Programme "Rice" features in the Professional Category and highlights the plight of feeding and nourishing children in order to educate them.

Jean Theron who works in the research department at Velocity has two spots featured. Firstly, a poignant spot for Project Literacy titled "Mandla" and a pertinent spot for SPCA titled "Clueless" that highlights the dangers of fireworks.

And in the Newcomer Section Michael Dube who has been mentored by Velocity Films directed "It's a Wrap" for the Cape Film Commission.

These VUKA! semi-finalists have been chosen to flight on DSTV along with all the semi-finalists.
