PNet takes the political party to the poles

Online job portal and e-recruitment portal PNet has capitalised on SA's current political media frenzy with a tongue-in-cheek illuminated street pole ads campaign that sees ‘parties' promising a better life for all.
The campaign draws a parallel between office politics and the imminent national elections; addressing general dissatisfaction in the workplace with the opportunity to find a better job with PNet.

PNet provides recruiters with online access to more than three million quality job seekers each month, making it easy to find the right person for the right job at the right time and also reducing time-to-hire and recruitment costs. Job seekers can access more than 15,000 relevant and up-to-date jobs daily, with the assurance that their CV's are seen by the right recruiters.

PNet's ‘Tired of Office Politics' campaign was developed by Euro RSCG South Africa specifically for application to street pole ads, and was later extended for application to a radio campaign that has flighted simultaneously.

According to Shelley Hoines, Euro RSCG South Africa Account Director, street pole ads have played a huge role in ensuring PNet's presence in the marketplace over the last 18 months. “We are delighted to report that CV registrations on www.pnet.co.za more than doubled from 2008 CV registrations. The results speak for themselves,” said Hoines.

Forming part of The ADreach Group's national network of more than 40,000 advertising signs, street pole ads deliver repetitive in-your-face exposure on high traffic volume routes nationally. Double-sided display panels also allow for specific directional messaging to highly defined commuting and pedestrian audiences. Illuminated street pole ads enhance the effect of street pole ads by offering inescapable brand exposure 24 hours a day.
