Enterprise IG will be the only South African design agency to appear in LogoLounge II, a hard cover coffee-table book considered to be a 'must have' by designers world-wide. A panel of eight international judges, all acclaimed identity designers in their own right, selected the winning logos. "This years selection was highly competitive," says Bill Gardner, founder of LogoLounge. "I believe the logos selected from around the globe for this years book are representative of where the industry is headed. We're delighted to include the work of Enterprise IG South Africa in this edition. They have brought a deft sense of identity design to the mix."
Logos designed by Enterprise IG include: Absa, Andisa, Cell C, Chicken Republic, Earth Africa, Easi Post, Fatti's & Moni's, Kinetic Health, Madinat Jumeirah, Maybach, North Island, South African Jewish Museum, SugarMill Casino, Sunesi, Super C, Syspro, The Boardwalk and The SA Post Office.
"In the ever increasing competitive environment of branding this accolade reinforces the world-class positioning of Enterprise IG and our efforts in capturing the spirit, equity and essence of these brands," says Kees Schilperoort, Enterprise IG creative chairman Europe, Middle East, Africa. "We are proud to have created or designed over 50%of South Africa's leading brands."
The second edition of LogoLounge is currently under production and can be expected on our shelves in January 2005. The first issue of LogoLounge ran out of print twice in the past year due to popular demand and continues to remain in the top 1% of sales on Amazon.com. If this is anything to go by, then the second edition is sure to be a prised possession.
