We have added to our Client Service Team, IT Department and are proud to announce the appointment of two new EXCO members: Anisa Du Plessis (Managing Director) and Leigh Pohl (Client Development Director).

Anisa joins us with an impressive CV. She hails from a marketing background with diverse experience in the service and financial service sector. She spent a number of years within the Absa group heading up the Branding, Sponsorship, Events and Strategy teams. From Absa, Anisa moved into her own Marketing and Business consultancy where she has spent the last 7 months consulting to the MTN Business Marketing Division.

“Anisa has a love for Marketing and a flair for décor. She owns three décor shops in the Pretoria and Johannesburg areas and has recently opened her first coffee shop in Northcliff. Being able to combine the creative aspect of décor, with the analytical demands of marketing, makes Anisa the perfect mix of art and science, a formula that The Brand Union is proud to showcase in our everyday working environment,” says Swart.

Leigh joins our team with over 14 years experience in both the client and agency side of marketing and branding, engaging with a broad spectrum of clients across all South African industries. He has experienced a number of roles within the industry ranging from Marketing Manager to Managing Director.

“It is one of our priorities to ensure that to be best in the business, we need a staff complement that reflects this goal! We are very proud to have both Anisa and Leigh on-board, and I am very confident in their abilities to take our business from strength to strength,” says CEO Anthony Swart.
