ABSA picks Exp.Sponsorship as lead agency for the ABSA CUP 2005!

Exp.Sponsorship launched the all-new, revitalized ABSA CUP at the top of the Carlton Hotel last Sunday (Feb. 6th). PSL's COO, Sizwe Nzimande and ABSA's Group Executive (Group Marketing & Communications) Brendan O'Donnell did the draw for the first round of the ABSA CUP 2005, which was broadcast live by SABC Sport.
Taking this year's tournament to new heights, and breathing life into the ABSA CUP 2005 theme "If you can dream it, live it", the launch saw an attempt to create a new Guinness World Record: the World's Highest Six-a-Side Soccer Match. Media, ABSA, PSL and celebrity teams took each other on in a custom-made indoor soccer pitch 30 storeys above ground to compete for the honour of (maybe!!) establishing a new record.

While we have yet to hear whether the record attempt has been successful, the ABSA CUP 2005 has been launched on its way to a third and even more successful season.

"The execution of the activation plan by Exp.Sponsorship and the turnaround times were remarkable. It is comforting to know that you have a team of professionals looking out to maximise the brand equity. Thank you."
