Exp. Momentum opens sponsorship division

Exp. Momentum, the leading providers of experiential marketing services across Africa, whose services include: Product Launches, Youth Marketing, Social Marketing/CSI, Presence Marketing, Sampling, Experiential Theatre, Mobile Marketing, Research, Sales Promotion and Experiential POP, have added another string to their bow by launching Exp.Sponsorships.
Justin Sampson has been appointed Managing Director - Exp.Sponsorships (Africa). Justin has extensive knowledge of the sponsorship industry having worked on several blue chip accounts and won a number of awards for his work. Sponsorship services offered will include:

Consultancy - Providing an integrated sponsorship-marketing program that is measurable and fits in with the overall marketing strategy and ensures a maximum return on investment for the client.

Event Management - Managing and planning the logistics of an event but at the same time creating a unique experience that is a reflection of the brand.

Property Ownership and Sales - Ensuring that a property's commercial potential is maximised by attracting the right sponsors and creating additional opportunities around that property.

"Sponsorship is a growing industry and internationally has the biggest growth potential within our group. Daily we get requests from our clients across Africa requesting this service and we felt that it was a corridor that we could no longer ignore," said Ron Boon - Group CEO, Exp. Momentum.

Exp.Momentum owns 19 offices in 16 African countries and works across border into another 16 countries, a total Africa reach of 32 countries. This is by far Africa's largest agency network excluding any affiliations.

In addition, Exp.Momentum has links with Momentum International, the world's leading Experiential Branding Agency. A significant proportion of Momentum International's business is generated in the sponsorship corridor, a major benefit to Exp.Sponsorships - creatively, strategically and with respect to the latest international developments in this discipline.

Exp. feel that they are the only agency in a position (with already existing Africa experience and infrastructure) to provide one integrated service across Africa. Sampson believes that Exp. Sponsorships is the only Sponsorship agency on the African continent that can claim to deliver these services.

Clients have the opportunity to work with a company with a decade's worth of African knowledge and experience in countries outside of South Africa and over 2 decades worth of experience working amongst the majority of people in South Africa, an offering that no other agency network can claim.

"As companies like MTN expand into Africa they will expect their agencies to provide one consolidated strategy across all their territories with an infrastructure to activate these plans. We believe that we will be at the fore front of providing these services" said Sampson.

From a South African perspective, Exp.Momentum has recently concluded an empowerment deal with Zwelakhe Sisulu. Zwelakhe's involvement with Exp.Momentum will extend to Exp.Sponsorships.

In today's global village, with companies operating simultaneously across any number of countries, global partners are required that have the necessary international knowledge together with on-the-ground experience to fully appreciate the cultures of the markets they are dealing with.

The team that Exp.Sponsorships has at its disposal, together with an infrastructure that has been operating in South Africa since 1982 and in Africa since 1993, gives Exp.Sponsorships a unique advantage.

Exp.Sponsorships intends taking advantage of its unique position and delivering a superior offering across the African continent!
