The ABF's very successful Bursary fund raiser was held on 13 October at Joe Parkers Comedy Bar at Montecasino. It was very well attended by advertising agencies and media owners, with over 200 people contributing their laughter and support to a good cause.
Congratulations to Tracy Schloesser, the lucky winner of the DSTV HD PVR. "Thanks so much for the awesome prize! I don't ever win anything, so it was a huge surprise to have my number called out," says Tracy. "The evening was great. We don't get to laugh enough in life, so it was nice just to chill. Keep up your amazing work, ABF."

"All of our fundraising functions help to boost the ABF's funds. From inception in 1969 to August 2010, we have paid out R6 752 298 in assistance to 414 families," says Sharlene Vallance, Vice President of the ABF.
"The ABF was set up to assist those in the industry that are in real need of the vital support. The organisation continues to coordinate events which raise funds with assistance from agencies and businesses in the industry, and set up membership drives to raise regular annuity income in order to assist those in need.
