TCM Pop Up Cinema & ECHO EVENTS are rolling the dice and getting lucky in Cape Town!

Following on from the hugely successful TCM Pop Up Cinema event on the 24th February in Johannesburg, TCM's Pop Up Cinema descends on The Mother City on Thursday the 12th of May at 18h00, leaving Capetonians no choice but to come out of hibernation.
Pop Up Cinema is a brand new film screening concept in South Africa which allows people to immerse themselves into the very heart and soul of classic films. It's free, it's strictly limited and it encourages people to enjoy movies in a completely different, interactive way. Taking unsuspecting venues, redressing them to the theme and resonating the film throughout the event experience - even urging people to dress up if they feel the need! The film itself remains a secret although clues are given on the TCM Africa and ECHO Facebook Pages so keep your eyes peeled.

"TCM's Pop Up Cinema is the first event of its kind in South Africa. We want to bring the romance and adventure back to the cinematic experience and create a setting that allows audiences not to merely view the movie but to become a part of the comedy, action, tears and laughter. We hope that TCM's Pop Up Cinema will showcase a selection of all the great movies people can watch on TCM and inspire them to pick up their DSTV remote, sit back and enjoy at home as well...obviously dressing up at home is optional!" said Alan Musa, VP and GM, Middle East, Africa and Pan Region for Turner Broadcasting Systems.
