This year, VWV celebrated International Children's Day by literally and figuratively warming the hearts of hundreds of children born into a life less privileged. In collaboration with SAB LTD staff stood together to be the difference this country needs. The two companies gave with heart through a blanket drive administered by the Starfish Greathearts Foundation.
VWV marketing manager Minette Smalle said, "With temperatures being rock bottom the need for blankets has increased, and we are pleased to have been able to touch the lives of the children in our community."
Over 300 blankets were collected and staff gave generously, wrapping these vulnerable children with goodwill and some much needed winter warmth.
