For the second consecutive year leading experiential agency, VWV Group, was commissioned by AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals to produce a documentary to accompany its 2010 Moments in Time calendar project. The 30-minute DVD features 13 calendar models all of whom are seemingly ordinary South Africans living with cancer.
VWV's brief for the CSI project was to deliver footage of the individuals along with recorded voiceovers that visually capture the project theme of ‘meaning in life'. “At first glance, the only thing these people seem to have in common is the insidious illness but as the DVD unfolds it offers the viewer a glance into their souls, and the story behind their smiles,” said Abey Mokgwatsane, VWV's CEO.
VWV's DVD has been referred to as a beautifully filmed artistic expression, with bold cinematography that is complemented by stirring music that has the power to move the soul and is a unique must-see. It will be sold to the public by AstraZeneca with all proceeds distributed to underprivileged cancer patients through the Moments in Time Trust.
