We supply geographical data, customised mobile and web applications and location-based business consulting. AfriGIS is a leading and preferred supplier of spatial- and other datasets to prominent public and private sector clients. Our datasets are used to provide innovative business and location-based intelligence services, products and solutions. The AfriGIS product range and solutions are utilised by over 200 government, parastatal and corporate clients.
AfriGIS firmly and passionately believes in community upliftment and involvement. On the Social Investment front we have been involved in a number of projects and institutions close to our heart and home, including social responsibility and sponsorships, as well as enterprise development, in collaboration with SEDSA. AfriGIS manages its own internship programme since 2000 and recently introduced the AfriGIS Language initiative; "A re buweng seTswana - Let's speak Setswana" (http://www.afrigis.co.za/languages/). In 2012 AfriGIS also launched a new learner ship, in association with CTU Training Solutions.
AfriGIS is a Level 4 Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) contributor and listed as a Value Adding Supplier (VAS) & Enterprise Development Beneficiary, as rated by the National Empowerment Rating Agency (NERA).
