Godfrey Parkin
Godfrey is a consultant, trainer, entrepreneur, and strategist, with extensive international experience in marketing, research, applied internet technologies, and corporate training. His career spans twenty five years and thirty five countries, and his innovative work in strategy, marketing, business performance improvement, e-business implementation, and technology-enhanced learning has earned him global recognition.

Godfrey has worked with marketing organisations as diverse as Unilever, Nomura Bank, American Airlines, General Motors, Nestle, Honda, and DreamWorks. His long list of achievements include quadrupling the revenues of Credit Suisse's securities sales teams worldwide; radically transforming the marketing strategy of A.C. Nielsen's companies around the globe; starting and running several leading edge businesses; helping Canada's largest telecom make the culture-switch from old-fashioned phone company to a successful online provider; and transforming a US training department into the world's largest provider of project management e-learning.

Godfrey is integrally involved in furthering the development of e-marketing and corporate learning, and is an active member of the small international community of thought leaders working on the practical exploitation of web 2.0.

Godfrey speaks at conferences around the world, contributes to journals, newsgroups and leading edge blogs, moderates a number of global industry online forums, and is an active participant in the International Society for Performance Improvement.

Karen Parkin
Karen is an outstanding leader with an enviable depth of experience in Information Technology, advertising, new media, web development and e-commerce. She has a reputation for planning, execution, and delivery on complex high-pressure projects demanding sound business judgment, creative flair, and technical innovation.

She is passionate about everything she does and inspires people around her through striving uncompromisingly for the best. She believes strongly in the value of project management and communications for getting things done professionally. She has developed great understanding of multicultural work environments and international markets and is a recognized guru in internationalization and localisation. She moves with ease from large corporate structures to small entrepreneurial companies. Her mastery of state-of-the-art management processes and technology has been gained by "walking the walk" in major projects and in real-world business experiences.

Her extensive experience in innovation, creative thinking and implementation cover major companies like IBM, Dow Chemical Europe, the BBC, EURO RSCG (a subsidiary of Havas International), Lockheed Martin, Intel, The Humane Society of the US, and Marriott International. She has led teams in award winning online projects.

Her career culminated in her leading projects for Marriott Hotels International that took it from having a US-only web site to an international presence in 20 countries in 9 languages. Her intimate involvement with marketing and sales executives internationally and with Marriott's hotel properties taught her the intricacies of the hotel marketing business and earned her an enviable reputation for her "e" expertise, excellence in cultural awareness, customer service and project execution.
