The Digital Media and Marketing Association (DMMA) is an independent, voluntary, non-profit association focused on growing and sustaining a vibrant and profitable digital industry in South Africa. The association gives members a platform via which to engage, interact and address digital issues of common interest.
The DMMA currently represents over 65 local online publishers, and over 64 creative, media and digital agencies, between them accounting for more than 9 million local unique browsers and over 340 million page impressions.
One of the DMMA's key objectives is to provide a single, credible currency via which to measure the size and activity of the South African digital marketplace. The association also works to ensure accurate reporting of digital advertising spend so as to show how the market is growing and attract more marketing budget online.
The annual Bookmarks Awards, another significant DMMA initiative, recognises agencies and publishers who excel in the online arena.
