The Phoenix Partnership is a boutique public relations, publicity and media liaison consultancy that services some of Cape Town's most recognisable brands. The business was formed in 2002 as a consultancy specialising in integrated communications and publicity under the leadership of Wendy Masters.
Since then, Wendy and her team have amassed a proven track record of executing publicity and media communication programmes for a variety of tourism, property, corporate, sport and consumer clients.
Major client experience across these sectors reflects our expertise, which includes integrated communication campaigns and strategic counselling for: Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Accelerate Cape Town, Wesgro, Madame Zingara, The Drift Farm, Constellation Wines, six consecutive Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tours and its associated sub events, FEDHASA Cape, Growsmart, hotels and their related restaurants including the Petousis family hotel group (comprising the Vineyard Hotel & Spa, Townhouse Hotel and Conference Centre and d'Ouwe Werf) and the launch of Kerzner International's luxury resort One&Only Cape Town in April 2009.
In addition, The Phoenix Partnership offers ad hoc PR services to Home From Home, a non-profit organization that aims to provide supported and supervised foster care for orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children in small family homes in their own communities.
Wendy is registered as an accredited public relations (APR) practitioner with the Public Relations Institute of South Africa (PRISA) and has extensive marketing, strategic communication and traditional public relations experience.
Her senior staff have years of experience in the media field and other PR disciplines, enabling the consultancy to offer comprehensive and integrated PR, publicity and media liaison campaigns across all media types, whether print, broadcast or digital.
