The ADreach Group was established in 1998 and today boasts more than 40,000 advertising sites across South Africa - delivering more targeted opportunities than any other outdoor advertising company in the country.

An entrepreneurial enterprise with a vision for the development of exciting Out of Home Media Solutions, ADreach is widely regarded as South Africa's most innovative company in the industry. ADreach's entrepreneurial vision is underpinned by a commitment to genuine empowerement and skills transfer, as well as grass roots Socio-Economic Development Initiatives.

The Group boasts solid black economic empowerment credentials, with highly regarded businessmen such as Cyril Ramaphosa, Pasty Malefo and Jonathan Beare among its shareholders.

The repetitive nature of Street Pole Ads (the company's flagship product) together with our ground-breaking mixed media applications, offer the marketer cost effective frequency and reach. The flexibility of the Street Pole Ads medium and the ability to customise solutions to targeted audiences, offers the advertiser uniquely powerful campaigns.

ADreach Outdoor Media Innovations Include:

Street Pole Ads

Street Pole Ads
Street Pole Ads deliver repetitive, in your face exposure on high traffic volume routes nationally. Double-sided display panels also allow for specific directional messaging to highly defined commuting and pedestrian audiences.

Reflective Street Pole Ads
By making use of reflective vinyl in the production of street pole ads, the need for backlighting is eliminated, as the vinyl is highly visible after dark. This is due to the presence of a metallic, reflective base that causes it to reflect back light which is shone on it.

Supalites

Supalites offer the most powerful outdoor impact on the market by offering advertising signs at close proximity to the road traffic. This, combined with the repetitive advantage of 3 signs placed in a row, delivers the most commanding outdoor campaigns ever seen in Johannesburg.

Supalites are illuminated 9m² signs displayed on consecutive poles on central road islands, making them impossible to avoid. These 3.6m high x 2.5m wide double-sided portrait signs are backlit and erected 3m above the ground. There are many prime Supalite Sites (each comprising 3 signs in succession) throughout the City of Jo'burg, all of which incorporate attractive landscaping for the highest impact brand exposure 24 hours a day.

Sponsored Road Traffic Signs

Sponsored Road Traffic Signs is a public-private initiative between the Department of Transport and ADreach, in association with Arrive Alive. This medium delivers road safety and environmental messages, whilst simultaneously offering commercial advertising opportunities on previously inaccessible locations along provincial roads.

Two thirds of the surface area must carry a road safety, environmental or community message. The remaining third may carry the sponsor's logo. The sponsor's colours may be used over the entire surface of the sign.

Sponsored Road Traffic Signs are available in the Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo Provinces.

Event Ads

Event Ads form an integral part of the media mix for any successful event campaign. Sites on major routes secure maximum exposure 7-14 days prior to events and functions. Compliancy with council bylaws is guaranteed and a customised booking system allows for complete control over all poster placements.

Community Contribution:

The Group remains committed to the resourceful but responsible development of innovative initiatives for ongoing upliftment, whilst serving the commercial needs of councils, clients, consumers and the community at large.

As part of its vision of participating in the socio-economic transformation of emerging markets within South Africa, ADreach is committed to making a genuine difference to South Africa, and this means playing a part in the social and economic development of the country, through sponsorships or donations, and of course, hands-on involvement.

SCARC

Among ADreach's socially responsible initiatives is SCARC (Soweto Canoe and Recreation Club), which gives children and adults of Soweto the opportunity to be introduced to water sports and activities.
Inspired by the vision of providing 'empowerment and growth through sport', SCARC was established at Orlando Dam in 2003 by one of the ADreach founders and current CEO, Brad Fisher. Since inception SCARC has grown into an exceptional program that imparts career guidance, tutoring, scholarships and, possible career opportunities within ADreach.

During 2007 SCARC was a finalist in the Jack Cheetham Memorial Award. Further to this, SCARC mentor, Mike Mbanjwa, was the first ever black Dusi winner.

Media Rental Sponsorship

Another such initiative sees ADreach sponsor free media rental for many credible initiatives to flight social awareness messages throughout South Africa. In this regard, ADreach has also flighted numerous community and environmental messages on behalf of Councils, so as to assist them in their endeavours to communicate with various communities.

Examples of media rental sponsorships include; Crime line, Lifeline, Arrive Alive, AIDS Awareness, Gender Violence, Guide Dogs Association, NSPCA, SHOUT SA, Sunshine Association, etc.

According to Danny K, musician and Co-Founder of SHOUT SA,"Every company has the ability to do something positive for South Africa. ADreach has opted to use what it is they do to ensure that this country moves along in the right direction. The SHOUT team realised very quickly that ADreach was a company that shared the same ethics as us; a company committed to South Africa and the betterment of our country."

Environmental and Social Commitment:

The ADreach Group demonstrates its social conscience through involvement in various environmentally and socially responsible projects.

Donating used Supalite Skins for Recycling

One such project sees ADreach donating used Supalite skins to previously unemployed individuals for recycling into a high quality range of unique and trendy bags.

Reflective Vinyl

Reflective Vinyl skins eliminate the need for backlighting and are highly visible after dark.

Reflective vinyl is the more responsible option for a number of reasons. Firstly, no electricity is consumed and no electrical connections are needed. Also, because they only reflect towards a direct light source, there is no distraction to residents.

Illegal Poster clean-ups and Law Enforcement

The ADreach Group is dedicated to the maintenance of clean and attractive South African streetscapes. The company is actively involved in relieving the burden on Councils for the enforcement of outdoor advertising and signage by-laws and works closely with various municipalities nationally for the on-going removal of illegal signs and posters across the Country.

In certain areas, the Group's involvement extends to legal enforcement of by-laws via prosecution and the issuing and collection of fines; thus further assisting municipalities in the conservation of high quality public environments.

Transformation:

At ADreach we believe firmly in getting involved in initiatives that would be successful in addressing the imbalances of the past and speeding up transformation effectively.

ADreach strongly supports the new BBBEE code, and in particular the components that focus on grass-roots development such as Enterprise Development and Socio-Economic Development that actively promote job creation and better standards of living for South Africa's most disadvantaged individuals.

ADreach has a firm commitment to 'Sustainable Transformation' and is moving along a process whereby transformation is fused into the very fabric of the businesses. This process is brought to fruition through a number of practices and procedures, which have included internship programmes, aimed at identifying career advancement opportunities and providing an aggressive training program that is made available to existing employees.

On-going Innovation:

Our vision for the development of exceptional public environments sees us striving towards the establishment of South African streetscapes that compete with those of the best cities in the world.

Working together with local government to establish revitalised streetscapes with outstanding street furniture innovations, ADreach is proud to offer the technology, experience and resources that make us South Africa's market leader in innovative outdoor media alternatives.
