Controversial Sunday Times columnist, David Bullard, was fired last week for being ‘racist' in his writings. Was he being racist or satirical? Did he deserve to be fired? Aren't columnists supposed to challenge conventional thought? Should the editors who approved his column, which was published, also be held liable?
