seventeen magazine is very excited to announce that Anja Joubert has joined the team as beauty editor. Anja, 27, grew up in the Cape, where she studied fashion at the Elizabeth Galloway Fashion Academy in Stellenbosch.

She then spent a couple of years working and travelling abroad where she worked as a stylist at The Observer in London and on various music video productions. She has spent the last three years as a freelance stylist in South Africa, and has worked with leading womens' titles including Cosmopolitan, Femina and Italian Elle. She's passionate about beauty and fashion, and, of course, youth culture.
