Sandra Nyaira gets Courage in Journalism award
The political editor of Zimbabwe's independent Daily News, Sandra Nyaira, has received a 'Courage in Journalism' award this week from the International Women's Media Foundation (IWMF). At 27 years of age Nyaira is Zimbabwe's youngest political editor ever.

"She works amid almost daily harassment in a country with one of the worst press freedom records in the world," said the Foundation in a statement announcing the award.
