Yabonga Children's Project

Yabonga Children's Project is a non-governmental organisation working to enable children and youth disadvantaged through socio-economic circumstances and the impact of HIV/AIDS to reach their full potential. We are based in Cape Town, South Africa and operation in seven township communities around the city. The organisation was founded in 1998 and has been growing and developing ever since.

Yabonga supports children, youth and adults who are affected and infected with HIV/AIDS to live an holistic lifestyle. We currently have over 1,000 children aged from six-16 years and provide them with one nutritious meal five times a day. After receiving a meal they either receive educational, psychosocial or life skills support. Once a year we assist the neediest children with stationary and school uniforms.

Help Yabonga Children's Project feed Orphans and Vulnerable Children by donating or sponsoring the following items that Yabonga supports the children:

*Canned pilchards
*Mealie-meal, rice, onions, soup mix, vegetables, long-life milk, cereals
*Educational materials (reading books, stationery)
*Children art boxes (pencils, rulers, sharpeners, crayons, paints, prestik, Pritt, sellotape)
*Children age six-16 years' uniforms (t-shirts, grey pants, socks, shoes, jerseys)
