Leading a school is a complex leadership function and the work of Partners for Possibility (PfP) is centred around supporting and capacitating leaders of schools. Research undertaken by PfP indicates that poor leadership in schools hampers the delivery of quality education. Partners for Possibility is a flagship programme of Symphonia for South Africa.
Leading and motivating educators is the theme of the last School Leadership Forum (SLF) meeting for 2017. The meeting is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, 9 November 2017 at the CTICC at 5.30pm.
Patrick Kawana, a famed transformational leadership facilitator, will be the guest speaker. Kawana's passion is in developing and working with leaders and organisations that are committed to unlocking the vast economic potential of Africa. Typical of the SLF, at the conclusion of his presentation, Kawana will invite to questions and comments from them.
Principals and Educators throughout the education spectrum in the Western Cape are invited to the forum, where entrance is free. The SLF is a platform for school principals in South Africa, founded by Symphonia for South Africa.
During the course of the 2017 academic year, the SLF has tackled a whole range of topics including Diversity, Discipline and Managing a multi-lingual classroom.
