Bitflux Communications, which won the 2.3GHz spectrum license last month after edging out indigenous telecoms firm Globacom to emerge as the national broadband carrier, has paid the $23,25 million required by Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) for securing the license.

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has introduced X-Alert, an enhanced notification system via mobile and email. A flat fee of N4 per transaction will be charged, scrapping the current charge of 0.06% of every trade.
