New Drive Dry campaign launches at social drinking hot spots
Pocket Tissue Ads would be the perfect accompaniment to the activation. The audience at these events would be very happy to take away pocket tissues branded with supporting messages, triggering conversation and reminders, long after they have left the venue.

Voetstoots clause not overridden by CPA
Voetstoots is necessary protection for the home seller. The buyer can obtain balancing protection by make the sale contingent on a satisfactory home inspection. Responsible agents should advise buyers to do this. After all most sellers and agents have never checked the roof properly - for instance. HouseCheck advises home inspections for buyers. Why embracing new trends in photography is vital to stay relevant, successful and in business!
Greta advice Peter, as 'added value' is exactly that! I've admired your work and enjoyed your clips. Well done.

Very worrying
Unrepentant minister has faith in Motsoeneng
Not surprising that the so-called minister has taken this stand. The cabinet and entire government, with all its various institutions have been taken over and run by pro-Zuma acolytes. So for the head of the SABC to be another ANC appointee with loyalties to the party and toeing their line is not at all surprising either. Future press freedom-I don't think so!!

Mr. Ed
Why is radio advertising so damn dismal?
Another problem is that agencies and copywriters don't always have the final say in what goes to air. Good ideas go to marketing departments who often put ego over creativity.

The problem is not always the junior copywriter given the difficult task of writing a radio script. It's often the marketing department full of people who don't write for a living, yet have the biggest say in what gets recorded.

Quality over quantity
I agree wholeheartedly that you have to work to make sure that what you write is actually interesting and relevant to your audience! All too often in business, people tend to forget who they are actually writing for (or even worse, not even know who they are writing for!) People don't care about your company or products - so find the angle that teaches them something new, or makes them consider you in a new light.

How innovation nearly killed LEGO
Thanks Pete. I bought 4 000 pieces of LEGO on Gumtree. I tried my own version in a management workshop - to be honest, it didn't go down too well. Any idea where I can get some guidelines on the process?

Sorry to hear that...I know only too well where you are coming from. After 25 years my entire career in magazines was made redundant, that was after I had been through two redundancies in two of the leading general and business publishing groups when entire departments were axed. Wishing you all the best!
