Once, twice, three times a 'ladyboy': A case of transsexualism
Dear Paris

Thank you for your comments.

I apologise for any offence this article may have caused - that was never the intent, and I can assure you it doesn't come from a place of hatred. It was an attempt by the author to enlighten others (as well as himself through the writing of the article) to the struggles transgenders face - from the public scrutiny to the arduous physical process in order to become who they really are.

I can see how this article could appear insensitive - but it comes from a place of naivety, rather than phobia. And it goes to show how much further we still have to go to understand transgenders.

I will gladly correct the article if you still so wish - but I would also then feel inclined to remove all these comments as I would have removed the context too.

Again, I'm very sorry for any disrespect.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Many kind regards,
Shan - ED

SABC does the can-can
Yes, you know if its on SABC its just ANC news just like who really cares about all these guys pegging off now... time for a change, all they can talk about is yesterday while screwing the country over today... But it seems like they're imploding and maybe we have a chance at real democracy - 250Million Rand villa - apartheid-a-shmartheid!

Introducing Dr Jekyll? Becoming Ms Hyde?

I have never read journalistic trash like this in my life. How did it get past your editor?

People please scream.

@Chamendra is a man from the middle-ages. This kind of journalism needs to stop. Transphobia is not cool.

@Chamendran has a lot to learn.

It's time to go thermonuclear with hack journalist like this.

The editor should reply and correct this hate rant.

Best.

Petrol price to drop
I filled at a randburg Sasol this morning and the price was still R12.10. I got robbed!
Also when I multiplied my litres filled (according to slip) by the incorrect petrol price my cents came to .68 BUT the garage charged me .80. They rounded up twice. I got robbed again!

Who are the best printers in Cape Town?
Silver Banana! they are one of the oldest digital printing companies in Cape Town and they seem to be the only ones who know what they are doing. They are also printing on T Shirts for our company at the moment.
