Who ever posted the article did to help those who might find it useful. Like myself running a small agency, it has helped. I think the article reflects monthly salaries at CTC package. Any sane person could have figured that out.
Interactivity is going to be the most important aspect of e-learning in future and where in can you do it as in a virtual classroom? When I switched from face to face teaching to online classes I too was quite apprehensive about how to connect with my students. Fortunately for me the virtual class that I use (http://www.wiziq.com/Virtual_Classroom.aspx) allows this and makes my class interesting.
creativity at its best, but let us not forget or ignore the fact that due to the apartheid government we are stil fragile and wounded to the core. Our democracy is still young, so a bit of sensetivity is of essence. Time will come when we will look back and lough at the ad, or have what my fellow social term "higher LMS". Sadly that time is not now, or anytime soon.
Think you went slightly off-focus there Lucinda, but hey... The reasons small businesses and start-ups shy away from PR generally are a) they don't understand how it works b) they are intimidated by them c) PR doesn't keep up with their daily changing demands d) too many PR companies have an archaic and rigid fee structure and e) once the PR Co gets the contract they are suddenly shunted on to some ten year old intern.
I always check out this website before buying headphones - http://bestheadphones-review.com/. I like the new Soul by Ludacris. I find they look cooler than the Beats or anything like that, and apparently they sound good too. Has anyone tried these?
Hey Robbie, I think Media Exec (above) has some valid points but don't be swayed. Half the publications mentioned in that market are not too strong and will wobble this year. Cape Union Mart (CUM - unfortunate acronym) has a very positive place in the hearts of thousands of South Africans so play on that, they must have a pretty decent database. Hate the logo though - too clunky. Check out what Men's Journal are doing online and in print. If you get stuck give me a bell.
They get my Award for the Dumbest Airline on the planet. Killing off the direct flight from London to Cape Town is a tragedy. I know of one German company who has cancelled a 3,000-delegate conference in CT in June, because of it and gone to Istanbul instead. SAA charge the most per mile and still can't turn a profit and Qatar and Emirates' planes make SAA's rickety planes look like scrap. Last international flight I tool with SAA they had one screen per 80 passengers, dire.
