Job description
A niche PR agency based in Centurion (PTA) requires an energetic and self-disciplined account manager to take care of clients in the professional services B2B space.
You will be required to:- Manage multiple PR accounts from campaign development through to execution
- Current affairs research to inform relevant content
- Create content (media releases, social media images etc) and distribute across traditional and social media platforms
- Coordinate content creation with freelance writing team
- Facilitate content approval according to unique client process
- Coordinate broadcast interviews
- Maintain media database
- Establish and grow relationships with journalists, editors and bloggers
- Report on publicity and social media engagement results according to client requirements
- Attend client meetings and provide feedback to team
- Stay up to date with trends and features in own and client industries
Please note that this position will require you to work independently from your home office (with your own reliable data connection) for four days a week. One day a week will be spent in the office (Centurion, Gauteng) with the rest of the team.
Working independently on this level is a skill all on its own, so please only apply if you know that you have the necessary self-discipline.
