Friends of Design is a digital design academy offering full-time, part-time, and corporate training courses in graphic, web, interactive, and game design.

We pride ourselves on bridging the gap between education and industry and are looking for a young, goal-driven sales executive to join our team.

In this role, working alongside our marketing team, you would be responsible for generating leads and enticing students and delegates to enrol in either our short courses or our customised corporate training programmes.

In all cases, strong relationships with the clients and delegates will need to be nurtured and maintained. From an organisational standpoint, you will also be required to maintain and manage the part-time and corporate training days.

Corporate business development responsibilities
  • Sourcing new leads through research and networking.
  • Driving new sales and generating new business.
  • Establishing rapport with clients and trainers or industry professionals to identify their needs and industry developments.
  • Remain current with academy programmes, new industry-wide trends, and developments.
  • Promote the value of investment in employee upskilling and skills development to corporates.
  • Negotiating deals and campaigns.
  • Ensure good customer relations by making regular contact to encourage repeat business.
  • Ensure sales targets are met according to deadlines.
Part-time course management responsibilities
  • Manage part-time course enquiries, sales and welcomes.
  • Execute all administrative duties related to the part-time courses.
  • Follow-ups and surveys on customer/student experience for part-time courses.
  • Three to five years' experience in a sales environment.

  • Experience/understanding of the design industry – graphic, web, interactive, etc.
  • Experience/knowledge of Adobe Software Suite.

  • Must have a passion for sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
