The main purpose of this role is to implement the marketing plans to enhance brand positioning and to motivate customers to purchase, resulting in increased brand awareness, sales and market share.
Responsibilities: Understand business and group strategies and provide support in producing the marketing plan Undertaking ad hoc projects and initiatives Identifying the appropriate content and offers for direct channels for the relevant departments Adhering to advertising and promotional timelines Supporting the delivery of seasonal ticketing and instore messaging Managing seasonal roadshows Assisting with marketing messages and copy on packaging Implement and provide feedback on the success of marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns Providing input into the development of marketing messages in intranet, internet and other media Maintaining marketing budgets
Requirements: Relevant diploma or degree 2-3 years experience in a retail/marketing environment Retails skills and experience Up to date in terms of product and marketing trends Good writing and verbal communication skills Creative ability Strong planning and organising
Salary commensurate with experience up to R250k ctc per annum.
