Amaridian LLC, a New York based gallery specializing in contemporary African, art, craft and design is looking for a dynamic, well organized and efficient individual to manage their South African based operation. This person will be responsible for the coordination of order placement, administration, bookkeeping, consolidation of orders, domestic and international shipments.
Duties: 1. Work in close communication with the New York office 2. Liaise with suppliers 3. Logistical management of all shipments to the US 4. Invoice collection and bookkeeping 5. Entering information into Accpac to produce monthly statements 6. Reconciliation of consignment items 7. Maintenance of Cash Book in excel 8. Budgeting 9. Follow-up orders 10. Logistics to warehouse 11. Processing invoices for payment 12. Packing of container and crates 13. International Shipment Invoice 14. Special/Custom orders 15. Distributing press coverage, collecting SA press 16. Retail Pro a. Input, streamline and edit data b. System development and management 17. Collect photos of items being sent 18. Complete line sheets
