Job description

A #real opportunity exists for an exceptional National Brand and Marketing Manager with Jawitz Properties - a national, leading real estate company.

The role is outlined below:

Brand Management

  • The overall management of the Jawitz Properties brand identity – national brand compliance and implementation
  • Ensure all national offices are aligned with the company brand requirements
  • Drive new creative marketing ideas and initiatives to give the Jawitz Properties brand the competitive edge
Strategic Marketing
  • Develop and implement the group strategic national branding and advertising initiatives
  • Understand and implement company sales initiatives i.e. marketing support for competitions or promotions
  • Strategic management of all local and area related initiatives
  • Management of overall brand look and feel for all advertising mediums
Traditional advertising
  • Oversee the weekly layout of newspaper property advertising and brand messages
  • Manage the roll out of promotional materials i.e. drops, marketing materials, signage
  • Manage national area visibility campaigns i.e. streetpole and suburban board advertising
Digital Marketing
  • Strategically manage all online brand and marketing presence and initiatives i.e., social media marketing, online portal partner relationships i.e. P24, IOL and Private Property, SEO i.e. Google ad words
Leadership and partnerships
  • There is a current marketing team of 6 employees. You will need effective leadership skills in order to identify what the best structure for the division is, what skills are required and how to manage the team members.
  • Develop strong strategic marketing relationships with vital partners i.e. PR companies, advertising agencies, marketing tool suppliers, international brand partners i.e. Leading RE and Luxury Portfolio.
PR management
  • Drive all Public Relations relationships and initiatives
  • Communicate PR activities and opportunities
  • Oversee the roll-out of company functions i.e. annual award evenings, company updates, national conferences, sales exhibitions
Internal Marketing
  • Plan and oversee the execution of all internal events i.e. company updates, birthday events, annual awards ceremonies, annual getaways, annual conferences
  • Implement the company’s CSI initiatives i.e. Mandela Day, Blanket Drives, Santa’s shoe box
  • Compile the annual national marketing budget and record all marketing spend and allocation thereof
  • Motivate allocation of marketing spend
  • Manage the effectiveness and efficiencies of the allocated spend
