Armstrong Appointments is an award-nominated, boutique recruitment agency that was established in 2003 and has a very strong brand name in the industry. We focus on short skills and recruit for all the different industries. The position is a rare opportunity for the right individual as it is a work from home position.
Our head office is based in Umhlanga and we have very advanced IT systems that enable us to have extensions off our main switchboard. The consultant will be provided with a cellphone, laptop, and an extension phone that is linked to head office. The position is treated exactly as if you were working in an office except that your home office is an extension of our office.
Armstrong Appointments has extensive resources, so you will have access to P-Net, our own 14-year-old database of 100,000 candidates as well as a unique database on our website and all the marketing material in order to market Armstrong extensively.
We also have a unique headhunting tool which very few agencies have due to cost. The position requires new business development, sourcing candidates, closing deals, and visiting clients. You will also be given clients that are attracted through our extensive marketing campaign. We have an administration team at head office that will type CVs, post adverts, and answer telephones and any other administration assistance needed which allows the consultant to maximise their earnings.
Salary is dependent on the candidate but is in the region of a basic between R15,000 and R20,000 and desk cost of R50,000 to R60,000 and commission of 40% after the target is obtained. With the brand name and extensive resources that we offer, the consultant has large earning potential.

If you proceed to the next step then we will conduct a telephonic with you and discuss the position in full and you will have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
The next step is a 1.5-hour behavioural psychometric test that is conducted online.
Then next step will be a face-to-face interview with the managing director at the head office in Umhlanga. The company will arrange and pay for flights and transfers if you are not from Umhlanga.
