Job description

A Brand Ambassador presents a positive first impression of the company’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards. 

Minimum requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12) essential
  • Two to three years’ Hostess/Reception experience, preferably in retail/ FMCG
  • Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
  • Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
  • MS Office literate
  • Customer service
  • High levels of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and numerical ability
  • Excellent communication skills, with good spoken English skills
  • Listening skills
  • Interpersonal and people skills
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Ability to work flawlessly and effortless under stress and pressure
  • Possess pleasant personality and enthusiastic attitude
  • Possess vibrant attitude and amicable personality
  • Classic, elegant and sophisticated in appearance and demeanour


Main duties

High Quality Service Delivery
  • Answer the switchboard calls within three rings
  • Distribute incoming calls to all relevant staff members
  • Take messages and notify the respective staff members within ten minutes after receiving such
  • Ensure that the reception area is always neat and tidy
  • Receive and welcome visitors at all times
  • Perfect time management skills to ensure services to guests/clients are not delayed
  • Ability to adapt easily to the requirements and guidelines of the organisation
  • Ability to learn fast on the job
  • Be a proactive and assist guests/clients in having the best experience possible
  • Be energetic, hardworking and extremely hands on
  • Be immaculately presented and a good communicator
  • Have an amazing attitude and work well in a team
  • Excellent product knowledge
  • General administration duties
Customer Service
  • Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to Guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance
  • Must be able to hear well in a loud environment in order to answer telephone and respond to Guest requests
  • Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests

  • Effectively communicate on the telephone
  • Must be able to clearly communicate guests’ needs to Sales Manager, Sales Executives, etc.
