IT Field Support Technician  

ENVIRONMENT:
This small to medium computer sales and support company based in Somerset West is looking to expand and take on a new IT Field Support Technician. You must have experience with Microsoft Applications as well as Servers, Anti virus software and have good knowledge of PC hardware.

DUTIES:
1. Work on PC's, printers, laptops, servers, scanners, all IT-related work and networking components.
2. Ability to install, configure and troubleshoot Windows XP desktop, Windows Server and network environments.
3. Experience in providing support for Microsoft Office: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
4. Self motivated and able to problem solve.
5. Administer and support a wide variety of clients and platforms.
6. Provide telephonic support.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Microsoft Certification (MSCE) a plus.
2. Good sound knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Servers.
3. All Microsoft operating systems and packages.
4. Good knowledge of anti virus software.
5. Good knowledge of PC Hardware.
6. Excellent customer service a must.
