Job description

Main objective of the role

The successful candidate will be a strategic Partner in supporting key clients to effectively manage, empower and develop their teams. Through an in-depth understanding of the overall company, business objectives and specific business units that you will oversee, you will ensure all expectations and goals are met at an optimal level. You will operate as a consultant on the full employee life cycle, ensuring adherence to HR  best practice and principles, advising management to consistently drive high performance through coaching, mentoring and motivating staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and proactively manage the people management agenda for assigned internal clients. 
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with these clients, implementing human resources practices and recommending effective solutions to meet departmental business needs.
  • Work with managers in identifying and preparing development plans for employees as per team objectives
  • Manage the recruitment process with H.R. Administrators in drafting job descriptions, identifying alternative recruitment methods and ensuring a seamless onboarding process of any new staff members
  • Advise and assist line managers on compliance with the company policies, procedures and associated disciplinary action in a fair and consistent manner as per legislative requirements.
  • Drive leadership and management competence at all levels of management
  • Keep abreast of all legislative changes and HR best practices

  • Relevant qualification
  • Minimum four years’ experience in a similar role
  • Key understanding and practical experience in HR practices and projects (Change, Talent and Performance Management, L&D, Reward & Recognition, Employee Relations) 
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Working experience in a call center environment advantageous 
  • Solid recruitment and employee relations experience
  • Generalist HR experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Solution orientated
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures and processes, plus a deep understanding of the business and relevant stakeholders and how these impact on the HR area of responsibility
  • Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Works well under pressure
