Media Sales Strategist

The purpose of this position is to assist the sales team to maximise revenue and increase market share
Key Performance Areas:
• Develop, provide and maintain sales tools in order to ensure consistent and accurate information that facilitates and aides the sales process
• Actively monitor competitor activity and gather market intelligence in order to optimize revenue generation
• Identify opportunities to grow the market share within the market
• Identification of new business opportunities in order for sales to exploit and optimize revenue
• Develop sales promotions and deals in order to maximize revenue opportunities
• Establish a client and agency relationships
• Implement effective Trade Marketing packages that promote national building

Requirements:
• Relevant tertiary qualification (AAA or IMM or Sales qualification)
• Three to five years Media Sales/Strategic Planning experience
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills and presentation skills
• Good interpretation of marketing related information - e.g. AMPS, RAMS etc
• Knowledge of marketing relations planning tools - e.g. Telmar, Adex

Salary: R18000 basic + commission
