Research and Development Manager

The purpose of this position is to lead new product development within a specific category within the company as well as support export initiatives. The chosen incumbent will also be required to lead, coach and mentor R&D staff as well as deliver individual and team focused customer goals and ensure timeous achievement thereof. This role carries the responsibility of facilitating supplier partnering to ensure that the site is continuously improving against best operating processes. This candidate will also be required to act as Bill of Material gatekeeper to ensure compliance to product specifications.

Requirements
Experience in research and development.
Solid knowledge of the FMCG industry.
Proven track record in new product development.
Manufacturing and marketing understanding.
