Cross industry secondary research skills with a proven ability in using online and other research sources and in delivering research results to provide a value-added all-round research service to internal customers.
Key Responsibilities: Perform cross industry and CRM-specific secondary research in English on a variety of business and technology-related topics utilizing a number of sources, internal and external, paper and electronic, including web-based, and online databases.
Synthesize, package and present secondary research findings in English, according to the needs of the customer.
Conduct in-depth reference interviews with customers to identify key questions to be addressed by the research as well as the nature and purpose of the deliverable.
Prepare budget estimates for research projects and ensure project budget constraints and project record keeping requirements are observed.
Development of CRM topic expertise and knowledge as well as deep understanding of relevant specialty sources.
Actively participate in general secondary research responsibilities e.g. participating in Accenture Research meetings at local, regional or global level etc.
Knowledge/Skills Requirements: Strong expertise in reading, writing and speaking English is essential
Solid experience in generic cross industry secondary research and information retrieval methods and techniques is essential
Basic financial knowledge skills would be an advantage
Ability to quickly grasp complex and unfamiliar subjects
Ability to understand and define clearly the research requirements and expectations of the consulting practice
Ability to work independently
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
Ability to work under time pressure and in a global and diverse team
Excellent skills in packaging and synthesizing research deliverables in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Familiarity with CRM business and technology issues, sources, vendors and suppliers and other experts in the industry is ideal Familiarity with Accenture's CRM practice and offerings is ideal
