Job description

The sales executive position will involve the sale of high value business solutions to clients and the maintenance of their accounts. Building lasting relationships is a major focus of the role, as well as securing new business opportunities.

The role as client service executive will be to provide a superior level of client service by managing client queries and the follow up activities that result from client contact. It will also include contract management and administration in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

  • Must have a good organising; planning; prioritising, decision making; leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Task; deadline and detail orientated
  • Must have good administrative abilities
  • Must have excellent negotiation skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills: written and verbal
  • Must demonstrate a passion for clients.
  • Excellent computer skills (internet; intranet; online communication tools)
  • Comprehensive understanding and knowledge and terminology of the Ornico database
  • Brand conscious within the media industry
  • Self-motivator
  • Strong previous experience in customer services with strong client interaction and communication skills – verbal and written form
  • Able to handle all aspects of the account and the successful management thereof
  • Able to interpret briefs successfully and disseminate client brief information to organisation
  • Will have a good understanding and knowledge of the systems and procedures within the CS department and of all operational departments
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of current affairs
  • Be a naturally curious person
  • Ornico product offerings and operational processes and procedures
  • CRM applications
Computer literacy
  • MS Word; MS Excel; PowerPoint; MS Outlook (email); internet; intranet; functionality of Ornico Websites, CRM applications
Language proficiency
  • English and Afrikaans verbal and written, fluent and well spoken
